THE POWER OF HABIT is a book by Charles Duhigg published in February 2012. Following habits is not a part of our life but it is an important part of our thinking and company. In all habits, there is a reward for you. This is an easy way to change your habits. You change your habits many times instead of changing your rewards. It becomes difficult to change some habits in life, but you can change your habits by focusing on things like your will power.

Habits have great importance in our life. Everyone wants to give up some habit. Whatever situation we are in is due to our habits. Our image makes our image and personalities.

EXAMPLE:-

When you are trying to quit smoking If you ask any smoker then he will tell you that when he needs smoking then he is ready to go to any extent to get it. So in this situation you have to do it that you can give response to this habit, but you can change this habit by chewing anti-smoking chewing gum in some other way.

RESEARCH:-

In the Habit Changing Organization, the Alcholics Anonymus uses this method very well. Till now this company has changed its habit to 10M people.

HOW:- This company tells the Alcoholic people what they want from alcohol. And checks their presence. A few days later, he changes his new routine of habits. And helps them form those new habits.

EXAMPLE:-

A man who did not touch alcohol for many years. But one day her mother calls and she learns that her mother has cancer. After that, he starts his alcohol habit again and he is a father of alcohol for 2 years.

RESEARCH:-

It is easy to start back from your old and bad habits, but in that good and bad habits you have to decide what is right for you. You have to strengthen yourself on which side you have to go.

FACTS:-

Many people turn to the right when they visit any shop. That’s why many knowledgeable shopkeepers keep the best products on the right side.

WHAT IS HABIT:-

Habit is an easy way to manage our routine properly and increase your brain power. Our sub-conscious mind takes responsibility for the work we have to do every day. And we remember that work at a right time and we do that work. That work gradually gets into our habit.

CONTROL:-

The work that we do repeatedly, it gets in our habit. We cannot remove the habit from our lives. We should always start with good habits and reward ourselves after its completion. You will feel better by doing this. Many times we cannot control bad habits, but we can gradually change them into good habits.

To make and improve your habits, you can apply the 2 things given in the book.

  • ROUTINE
  • REWARD

Habit always starts with cue whether it is good or bad. After that we start doing those works and they become a part of our routine one day. Therefore, we should always bring our good habits in the routine and in the end we should reward ourselves for doing that work.

DUHIGG says that curiosity is the habit of all habits. So we should start new habits and end old habits.
